Hawks' Winning Streak Comes to an End
Hawks softball dropped two games to Bethany on Friday afternoon putting their 5-game winning streak to a halt. The first game went the full 7 innings, but failure to produce runs throughout the game led to a 0-1 shutout by the Bruins. The second game the Bruins fell behind earlier but tied it up 3-3 in the sixth. Extra innings were need to break the tie, but the Hawks fell out of the nest in the bottom of the 9th with bases loaded and a base hit to the right side by the Bruins.
