Hawks Finish Strong at NAIA Men's Golf National Championship

The HNU men’s golf capped off an incredible season with a top 10 finish at the NAIA national championship.

After struggling to an opening round 315, the Hawks ended day one in 24th place out of 29 teams. Looking to make a statement on day two, the Hawks shot 303 to climb ten spots and finish the day in 14th place. Cross Country, Golf and Softball Ready to Represent HNU at National Championships

Oakland, CA – On May 14th the HNU women’s softball team play its first game vs. Point Loma University in round one of the NAIA Women’s Softball National Championship. Successful Weekend for Hawk Golfers

As Spring Sports Conclude, Senior Athletes Recognized

As the last week of competition in the Cal Pac Conference winds down, HNU would like to recognize a number of student athletes who will be playing in their final season of competition. Seniors Riley Tang and Andrew McDowell will be the first four year members and graduates of the HNU men’s volleyball program.

Lacey Parodi Named Cal Pac Softball Player of the Week

Holy Names University shortstop Lacey Parodi was selected as the California Pacific Conference Softball Player of the Week for the dates of March 23rd through 30th, 2009.

Parodi, a native of Alameda, California, went four for five at plate with seven RBI's. Parodi also had a double, a triple and a walk as she helped the Hawks to a two-win shutout doubleheader sweep, 9-0 and 8-0, over Dominican University in San Leandro on Sunday.
