Grimmond Earns Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Week

Oakland, CA - Melissa Grimmond Wins Womens Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Holy Names University senior Melissa Grimmond was selected as the California Pacific Conference Womens Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the dates of October 26th through November 2nd, 2009.
The Clayton, California native contributed a goal and led the Hawks on defense in the Hawks' 2-0 week. The Hawks beat Mills College 4-0 on Tuesday in Oakland and won 4-0 over Simpson University on Saturday in Oakland.

The Hawks finish up their 2009 schedule Tuesday November 10th as they take on William Jessup University in Roseville.
