With the Vodiscka sisters providing constant nagging pressure the Sunbirds had many problems dealing with it. At the end of the match the Hawks would force 36 turnovers and take home the win 76-66. Leading the Hawks were senior Katie Styles and junior Jamie-Leigh Ronolo. The two combined for 41 points on 14-39 shooting. Also contributing was freshman Lesley Vodiscka who on the night had 11 points on 3-8 shooting and 8 rebounds.
On the night the Hawks the Hawks won the two most important stats and that was rebounding (38-37) and turnovers (19-36). If the Hawks can force that many turnovers on the night and at least be +1 on the boards they will be on the receiving end of many wins.
Next for the Hawks is their HNU Tip-Off Tournament on November 6th and 7th. The Hawks will take on once again the Sunbirds as well as Red Raiders of Southern Oregon. Come out and support your Hawks.
