Oakland, CA - Senior night is always a tough day because it the culmination of your college career For both Michele Myers and Kendra Vasquez this was the case tonight. Both played with a sense of urgency and led the Hawks to a 3-0 victory of the Red Hawks. Leading the Hawks were one again sophomore Ashley Nickell and junior Rebecca Chase. Ashley finished the night with 14 kills on 26 attempts while Rebecca Chase finished with 13 kills on 22 attempts and 21 assist.

Michele Myers finished the game with 6 kills on 12 attempts and after injuring her ankle a couple weeks back she has come back and really contributed. Kendra Vasquez contributed with 5 kills of her own on 11 attempts.

The Hawks will finish off the season on the road at Pacific Union College and William Jessup. Currently the Hawks are one game ahead of William Jessup and that final game will determine who will take sole possession of second place. Know that Menlo has claimed sole possession of first and will have home court advantage in the conference tournament, the Hawks look to take second and give themselves a chance to have home court advantage in the tournament as well.

Come out and support your Hawks!
