Three California Pacific Conference student-athletes were named to the Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association NAIA All-West Region First Team. Menlo College had two players named to the team - designated player Courtney Emry and second baseman Alisha Vegas - and California Pacific Conference champion Holy Names University placed one player - pitcher Stephanie Fairclough.
Fairclough, a Pleasant Hill native, came to Holy Names from College Park High School in Concord, Ca. As a freshman she accumulated a 9-1 record in conference, including 89 strike-outs and a staggering ERA of 0.55. Stephanie was also honored by being named a 2009 NAIA All-American.
